Intermittent fault when trying to set up forum for Ghost blog
Testing is going fine for integrated comments on my Ghost blog. But I've run into a problem trying to set up the discussion forum.
Some background. I'm using Windows 10 and the Vivaldi browser. My blog is hosted by Ghost.org but it's still behind a password, as I don't want it searched until it's ready to go live. But I don't think this should affect the Talkyard forum. The embedded comments work smoothly for anyone past the password.
The fault: when logged in as admin, going to the home page
https://comments-for-www-portuguesemusic-info.talkyard.net/latest
displays what you would expect - a list of the latest comments in the central panel.
But when you move the mouse pointer back from home over the central panel it disappears - poof! - as soon as you scroll down. Reloading brings the central panel back up. But it disappears as soon as you scroll.
Sometimes this doesn't happen. But I've forgotten what I did to get this happy outcome. At the moment I can only reproduce the bug.

Seems to work OK when using Firefox instead of Vivaldi. So it may be a Vivaldi fault.
Solution is to use Firefox!

Ok now I had a closer look at the Original Post. ... Ok when things work fine in Chrome and FF etc, but not in Vivaldi, then, probably I should focus on other things, than investigating that.
At the same time, it's a bit sad that these newer browsers, like Vivaldi, can run into such problems, which hampers their growth. It'd be good with a more browser diversity :- )
Maybe it'd make sense to report the problem to Vivaldi? Maybe they can fix it, and ... You can resume using Vivaldi :- )
Now I read a bit about V:

Wow! I start to like it. My 100 tabs ... and sometimes Chrome tries to load them all at once after restart

Vivaldi is good. It has a built-in notes system that's also useful. It's a fork of Opera - or rather a commercial split within the Opera team.
But anyway I'm happy using Firefox as well, so problem solved.
